Samsung Electronics is showcasing two (14.1-and 31-inch) organic light-emitting diode (OLED) TVs in addition to an ultra-slim 52-inch LCD TV and quadruple full-HD LCD TV at CES 20087, with Samsung stating it will begin commercial production of mid- to large-sized OLED TVs around 2010.

Shane already calls out the Samsung booth as the most impressive in his CES Day 3 Summary. He is smitten by the Samsung 31-inch OLED TV.
Shane says about the Samsung 31-inch OLED TV: "Not only is the set very thin, but the image quality is exceptional. This set has the deepest blacks I have ever seen and reds were better than I have seen as well. " See more of the Samsung CES 2008 Booth in this Photo Gallery.
Samsung announced at the CES 2008 the Series 6 and Series 7 Plasma TV line, the first 3D-ready, flat-panel HDTVs on the market with the Series 4 plasma HDTV, and more. Via the Samsung site.

Samsung brought the "Best of the Best" to this years CES and walked away with 32 awards in innovation to prove it.

Samsung Electronics opened the CES 2008 show today unveiling its vision of a world of complete connectivity, one in which the boundaries to both rich content and beautiful design are gone and the result is a life made simple. Samsung's entire array of products can be seen at the Samsung booth # 11033 in the Central Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center. ( press release)
Samsung Electronics was took home 33 awards for innovative design and technical solutions at the international CES 2008 (Consumer Electronics Show). Twelve of the awards were from audio/video and consumer products - 4 TV sets, an MP3-player, a home theater, HD camcorder, combi HD player, Bluetooth headset, refrigerator and 2 media players. In addition to the 12 AV awards, Samsung won 20 awards for IT and mobile devices 2 printers, 3 monitors, 13 mobile phones, their Q1 Ultra Mobile PC - UMPC and last but not least a solid state disk drive.

CES 2008: Samsung P2 PMP has Bluetooth, Gets reviewed
Now I know that we’ve already covered this, but the difference is we actually have one now. In fact, it was given to SlashGear, and we had a Bullshit, you know, the card game, tournament with it as the prize.
